My favorite flowers… are dandelions, because my kids pick them for me! As for non-weeds, I especially love delphinium, garden roses, sweet peas, wisteria vine, and pompon dahlias.

Within the flower world, my favorite thing to do is… grow, grow, grow! I love being in the garden, getting my hands dirty, and learning about innovative ways to grow cut flowers - I’m a science nerd through and through. Within floriculture, I’m especially interested in sustainable/organic growing methods, season extension, and hybridization. I also love teaching.

In regards to design, bringing a client’s vision to life by creating romantic tablescapes and garden-inspired installations are the most fulfilling things to me.

My happy place is… in a blooming garden, surrounded by trees and wildlife.

My favorite place I've ever traveled is… probably Lake Tahoe or Versailles.

A secret talent I have… I have an unusual memory for dates (especially birthdays), the weather, and other little details. Curious about what the weather was like three Thursdays ago? I’ve got you covered, lol.

Outside of the flower world, Iam most likely to be found chasing after my preschool-aged children, creating a slightly-above-average recipe in the kitchen, or going for a run on one of Harleysville’s many trails!

Owner/Grower/Designer

My favorite flowers… I have always been a sucker for Zinnias. They are the flower that just keeps on giving, each with their own unique design and pattern. But honestly, I hate to have to choose, If I could say all, I would say all.

Within the flower world, my favorite thing to do is…  I love event design (tablescapes, centerpieces, focal points). Prior to seeking a career in speech therapy I pursued a career in event/wedding planning and continue to enjoy every aspect of the business, and have worked with many friends on the floral/design aspects of their special day.

A secret talent I have… Not really secret, but acquiring and growing houseplants.

If I could have one superpower, it would be… Hands down, teleportation. I love to travel and to have the ability to do it instantaneously would be the ultimate superpower.

Something on my bucket list is… 80% of my bucket list is travel related. I would love to get to at least 30 different countries, and all 50 states.

My favorite place I've ever traveled is… Costa Rica. It encapsulates all the things that one would wish for a travel destination. It's a beautiful country, with rich culture and so many surprises.

Outside of the flower world… I am married to my best friend Richard (cliche as it is, it's true) and have two daughters, Magnolia and Eila. I am a speech and language pathologist and love working alongside families to achieve their communication goals. We love spending time outside, cooking together and being with loved ones. I am always down for conversation over a good cup of coffee or a tall glass of wine. I crave any chance to be creative, therefore most of my hobbies are rooted in creating things like macrame, lettering, weaving, crafting, gardening etc.

Floral Design

My favorite flowers…. I love working with flowers that add movement and bounce to a bouquet or arrangement. Incorporating flowers like Ranunculus, Agrostemma, Scabiosa or Japanese Anemone allows for vertical interest as well as a light, airy element that I love to build into my floral design work.

Within the flower world, my favorite thing to do is… Provide full-scale event design service. With a background as a Wedding and Event Planner for an international luxury hotel brand, I love to tap into my experience and bring the whole vision to life. I pull inspiration for my floral designs from everywhere: the bride's dress, lighting, textiles and the venue itself. My absolute favorite part of event design is creating tablescapes around which people will be seated and enjoying a meal together.

My happy place is… The Virgin Islands. My husband and I honeymooned there, then lived there and now go back to visit old friends and favorite spots as often as we can.

My zodiac sign is… I'm a Libra through and through! Peace, balance, and symmetry. (Except when it comes to floral design!)

Outside of the flower world, I… am a wife and mom to two toddlers. I love the outdoors, baking from scratch, enjoying a margarita in the garden at sunset with my husband and any good excuse to host a great party!

Meg is the proud owner of Feel Good Florals, a flower farm and floral design company serving the Lehigh Valley. We are fortunate to have her collaborate on special events with Waverly Flower Co.!

I am a huge Swiftie and have been ever since the start of Taylor's career. When I'm not outside, playing with my son or jamming to Taylor, I am probably reading a book or listening to a podcast.

Pete

Pete is the friendly face you’ll see for the majority of local deliveries.

As Alanna’s father, Pete also joyfully completes some of the less-than-lovely garden chores, like digging large trenches for tulip bulbs, spring clean-up during baby bunny season, and moving yards… and yards, and yards… of compost.

Pete manages his own large garden and greenhouse, where he primarily grows vegetables. He labels everything meticulously and keeps detailed records; a trait that, unfortunately, Alanna did not inherit.

Outside of the garden, Pete has owned and operated a management consulting company for 30+ years and is very involved in the local community through volunteering and youth basketball. He loves Philly sports, playing tennis, traveling with his wife, Dee, and spending time with his two grandchildren. He is also, without a doubt, the best grandfather (“Petepa!”) ever.

Driver/Gardener

Wayne

Last year, Alanna approached her Uncle Wayne (affectionately known within the family as “Wec”) to pick his engineering brain about the controls and system design for the possibility of a solar-powered aquaponics system. Well known and well loved by all for his willingness to always lend a hand, Wayne generously stepped up to the plate - despite not having any previous familiarity with aquaponics or cut flowers - and ultimately designed the entire system.

As the man who lives by the quote “anything worth doing is worth overdoing,” Wayne built the infrastructure, created a computerized control panel to automate water flow and temperature, and designed it to be entirely solar-powered. And, just as importantly, he painted the whole system periwinkle (!).

An expert “tinkerer,” this is far from Wayne’s first passion project; in fact, if you’re ever in the mood for a good story, ask him about the “purple box” he created, left on Alanna’s doorstep, and the police activity that ensued.

In addition to his work as an engineer, Wayne is a dedicated husband and father of three adult sons. He’s very involved in multiple local organizations including the Lions Club and Boy Scouts of America, a biiiiiig Virginia Tech fan, and overall just one heckuva guy.
